This meet started off to a rough start and the results were not looking good. It was not until Rachel Yoon's ('20) come back in the 200 Medley that the team really embodied the well-known NCS Eagle grit and spirit. Rachel's 200 showed her tenacity as a swimmer as she was behind in the 1st 100 but destroyed the competition in the final 100. This was a common theme this meet, as the NCS eagles finished with a remarkable win. Numerous PR's were achieved, especially Raphy Hupez '17 in the 100 free. Overall NCS fought an uphill battle this Saturday and came out on top. Congrats on another amazing win today, ladies. Our individual strengths really shine when we have such a small dedication. Wins like this only happen when a team is dedicated. And so, yet again, the small but mighty swim team spread its wings and brought home another win.

The NCS Eagles secured a 96-72 win today against Flint Hill, advancing our record to 4-1-2. The Eagles had first place swims from Margaret Herbold ’19, Raphy Hupez ’17, Veronica Merril ’17, with Rachel Yoon ’20 taking home two individual wins. All other swimmers swam hard brought their best cheering game, despite missing a few swimmers. Great job, Cathedral!
