We are a school that believes in the power of young women and our expertise lies in teaching girls and young women to discover their potential and develop their unique talents. We are seeking kind, motivated, and community-minded students who will contribute to NCS beyond the classroom. In our holistic application review, the admissions committee will consider the following: student's academic record; teacher and counselor recommendations; information supplied on the application and essay; the student's talents, character, and leadership qualities; information gathered during the interview; and assessment scores.

 Application Process
1. Create your Ravenna account and begin your application for admission.
2. Schedule your in-person campus tour.
3. Schedule your admission interview (interviews are only conducted after a tour has been completed and an online application has been submitted).
3. Submit supplemental application materials:
    a. Transcripts
    b. Student Essay
    c. Parent Questionnaire
4. Assign teachers to write letters of recommendation. Please select teachers from the current school year. Each division requires a maximum of two letters of recommendation.
5. Register and submit admission testing.
6. Recommended: Join us for our Prospective Student Open House on Nov. 13!

This year, we will continue to require an admissions assessment for all applicants. See the grade level assessment options below.

Admissions Assessments
Lower school applicants (4th-6th grade) will need to attend our in-house assessment.
Middle school applicants (7th-8th grade) will need to submit official standardized scores taken in-house at the student's current school.
Upper school applicants (9th-12th grade) can choose between submitting one of these two assessments: ISEE or SSAT.
Transfer applicants may submit PSAT, SAT, or ACT test scores in addition to, or in lieu, of one of the paths above.

Please have all application documents sent to ncs_admissions@cathedral.org.
