MS Cross Country Placed First in Meet at Potomac School
On October 22, the NCS Middle School Cross Country team traveled to the Potomac School for their 4th meet of the year. The course proved to be one of the more difficult courses but this did not stop NCS from getting 1st place! Three girls set personal records for 2 miles and the race was highlighted by Sophia Hanway '21 getting 1st place with a time of 14:46 and Campbell Musslewhite '21 getting 2nd place with a time of 14:47.
At yesterday's ISL Championship Meet, Sophia Hanway again took first place (14:38) and Campbell Musslewhite came in fifth (15:46). The team continues to work hard, to meet and exceed expectations, and to have fun running while enjoying this beautiful fall weather!
