National Cathedral School (NCS) announces a search for a full-time facilities operations liaison to support the Facilities Department in managing various maintenance and custodial responsibilities. Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (significant work experience can substitute) and have at least three years’ experience with housekeeping and office administration. Ideal candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills with an ability to manage multiple projects at one time. This 12-month staff position begins in August 2020.
Responsibilities for this position include overseeing the management of newly heightened cleaning procedures, acting as a point of contact for all daily housekeeping/facilities requests, and communicating with on-site technicians to ensure completion of service requests in timely manner. Other responsibilities include ordering staff uniforms, ensuring all preventative maintenance checklists are completed on time, maintaining all inventories of supplies, and carrying out campus mail operations.
