Students Enjoy VIP View of the Supreme Court

On April 6 David Sahr’s “Politics in America” class enjoyed an insider’s visit to the U.S. Supreme Court, where they met Justice Anthony Kennedy.
Justice Kennedy kindly agreed to sit for a photo with the NCS and STA students (pictured left). In addition to hearing from Justice Kennedy, the students heard from Bradford Berenson, Justice Kennedy’s former law clerk, a former counselor to President George W. Bush, and father of Tessa Berenson ’10. The students also heard from USA Today Supreme Court correspondent Joan Biskupic, mother of Elizabeth “Lizzy” Lewis ’10. Ms. Biskupic is the author of a recent biography of Justice Antonin Scalia, American Original. Our thanks to Mr. Berenson for making this V.I.P. visit possible!
