NCS Seniors on It’s Academic

Carolyn Gigot ’12, Sheila Handler ’12, and Jonece Layne ’12 faced off against teams from Montgomery Blair High School of Silver Spring, MD, and South Lakes High School of Reston, VA. The match was moderated by substitute quizmaster Hillary Howard, WTOP radio news anchor.
 
Now celebrating 51 years on the air, “It’s Academic” is the world’s longest-running quiz show, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. It is sponsored by Giant Food, which is currently honoring the NCS team and the whole school with a special National Cathedral School food item that will be available for purchase at the Giant store located at 3336 Wisconsin Ave. NW from now until Sunday, Dec. 4.
