Int’l Program Visitors Experience DC--Some on a Segway!

April’s a busy month as NCS hosts three different exchange groups from London, Ghana, and France.
This month, NCS students who participated in the London, Ghana, and French exchange trips are in turn hosting students from the schools that hosted them: St. Paul’s Girls’ School (London, England, March 30-April 7); Wesley Girls’ High School (Cape Coast, Ghana, April 7-21); and Lycee Stanislas (Paris, France, April 15-24).

The visiting students attend some NCS classes, but the majority of their time is spent touring Washington, DC and absorbing the local culture, just as the NCS travelers did when they visited their countries.

The Ghana group had a unique experience on Sunday, April 17 when NCS host dads John Cox, Pat Bryski, and Koby Koomson took the girls on a Segway tour of DC. Everyone agreed it was terrific, one of the highlights of the trip!
