Cathedral Middle School Swim Team Wins Championship
The National Cathedral Middle School Swimming Team travelled to Holton-Arms on Saturday for the 2014 Middle School Swimming Championships and came home with a victory!
The Eagles came in first out of 22 schools finishing with 222 total points through nine events. The relay team of Francesca Boyer '18, Tori Griffin '18, Ashleigh Lackey '19, and Page Lester '18 came in first in both the 200-yard Medley Relay and the 200-yard Free Relay. Lester '18 also placed second in the 100-yard Free and first in the 200-yard Free. Tori Griffin '18 placed fifth in the 100-yard Free and fourth in the 50-yard Free. Francesca Boyer '18 placed third in the 200-yard Free and third in the 50-yard Backstroke while Ashleigh Lackey '19 placed second in the 50-yard Breaststroke.
