JV Softball played a tight game with Flint Hill until the bottom half of the fourth inning when NCS pulled ahead. After a scoreless top half of the fifth, NCS walked off the field with a 16-6 win. Alba Cordover '18 pitched the entire game and recorded six strikeouts. Though shaky early in the game, the defense tightened up, with good play by Emmy Perry '17 behind the plate, Lauryn Barnes '17 at second base, and Lily McGrail '17 at first base. Once again, the offense was sparked by discipline at the plate and aggressive base running. Lily, Inna Tintchev '18, and Delina Sheth '18 each had multi-hit games. Alba helped on offense as well by going three for four, including a home run.
