Varsity Squash on the Rise
The NCS Varsity Squash team, in its third year as a varsity sport, raised the bar last Thursday in their match against Episcopal High School. They were narrowly defeated 6-7 as a team, but many matches came down to only a few points. Convincing victories were clinched by Indira Rajkumar (’17) and Ashley Chung (’17), who are both newcomers to the sport this season. Addy Wolf displayed incredible grit, coming back after losing the first game to win her match with a final score of 3-2. Gigi Gregorian (’17), Ashley Chung (’17), Cameron Hay (’17), and Addy Wolf (’17) won matches against players they had previously lost to. NCS Varsity Squash continues to see their hard work pay off on court!
