National Academic Honors for Field Hockey 9
Nine NCS students have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's 2016-2017 National Academic Squad, five of them for the second consecutive year.

Gigi Grigorian '17 and Elizabeth Thoren '17 were named scholars of distinction for the second time. Scholars of distinction hold a 3.9 or better grade-point average through the first quarter of the school year.
Also named academic all-Americans were Katherine Boasberg '18; Anna Christou '17; Emma Cordover '18; Selin Everett '17; Caitlin McNamara '17; Kate Schlager '18; and Sierra Turner '18. Each had a GPA of at least 3.5. Christou, Everett, and McNamara are two-time honorees.
The players were all part of this fall's team, which finished the year with a 7-6-3 record.
