NCS and St. Albans cordially invite you to attend the 15th annual Independent Schools Choral Festival on Wednesday, October 27, at 8:00 p.m. in Washington National Cathedral. The festival, founded by long-time NCS Music Chair Richard Roeckelein, brings together more than 500 performers from nine area independent schools. The combined choirs — over 500 voices strong — will sing "Laudate Jehovam" by Telemann, "O Vos Omnes" by Casals, and "Hush! Somebody's Calling My Name" arranged by Mark Hayes. The 106-voice NCS/STA Chorale will sing the second movement of Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" with harp and percussion. The concert is free and open to the public.
