Shapiro '19 Named All-American in Diving

Dorothy Shapiro '19 has been named an All-American diver for the 2018-2019 school year by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association.
 
Shapiro is the most accomplished diver in NCS history, with three ISL championships and one silver medal, and she holds the school record for diving with 451.30 points. The Washington Post has twice placed her on its All-Met lists as an honorable mention.
 
This year, Shapiro not only shone at ISLs but also placed second in two major regional competitions, the Washington Metros (Metropolitan Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championships) and the Washington Metropolitan Prep School League Championships.
 
Congratulations to Dorothy for this final achievement in a storied high school diving career!
