Upper Schoolers Meet with Senator and Alumna

The seniors and sophomores in David Sahr’s Politics in America class headed to the U.S. Capitol for sessions with Bridget Morrison ’11, Special Counsel to Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Senator Lisa Murkowski (R.-Alaska). Morrison spoke about her role on the Hill and her interest in public health issues. Senator Murkowski addressed the students and answered their questions about balancing federal interests and the interests of her state, as well as a host of other topical issues.
