Students Plan, Lead Cathedral Service on Role Models

Members of the Upper and Middle School student governments helped plan and lead an all-school service in Washington National Cathedral centered on the theme of role models. Tenth graders Alexia M., seventh graders and Kat K. and Claire K., and sixth graders Camille H., Milla S., and Audrey B. delivered original remarks and homilies. Tenth grader Audrey L. presented a dance with original choreography entitled “Flame,” set to traditional Chinese music, while the Upper School a capella group, Sarsaparilla (SASS), sang “Dreams,” a selection by Fleetwood Mac. The Peace Prayer, delivered by senior Julie K., was offered in Russian.
