On Nov. 10 NCS won the inaugural D.C. Statewide Athletic Association girls' soccer championship, beating Sidwell Friends 1-0.
In the final game of the D.C. Statewide Athletic Assocation (DCSAA) first-ever girls' soccer tournament, NCS fought hard and with a goal scored by Marta Sniezek '15 in the first half, beat Sidwell Friends 1-0 on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Wilson High School. This, plus the team's ISL championship win on Nov. 4, have made it a banner year for soccer at our school! Congratulations to the team and their wonderful coaches!
Brother school St. Albans also captured their DCSAA boys' soccer championship on the same day, outlasting Maret in penalty kicks, 5-3.
