V Basketball Defeats Upper Divisional Opponent Holton-Arms
NCS faced upper division rival Holton Arms in the second double header with St. Albans High School on Saturday, January 26th. The Eagles were trailing for the entire game, and Holton went into halftime hitting a buzzer beater half-court shot to go up by 4 points. The Eagles stepped up their defense in the second half and started getting more transition points. While NCS struggled to get the ball in the basket, 5 players contributed points: Nora Clark '13 2 pts, Isabella Alarie '16 13 pts, Eva Snaith '16 8pts, Rubii Tamen '14 4 pts, and Marta Sniezek '15 lead all scorers with 23 points. This was the 4th upper division team the Eagles defeated this season.
