Conference on Coordinate Education Coming to the Close
National Cathedral School and St. Albans School will jointly host a conference on coordinate education on November 7-8, 2013, in concert with the International Boys School Coalition and the National Coalition of Girls Schools.
Aimed at senior administrators at single-sex schools, the conference hopes to explore the benefits, challenges, and practical issues of coordinate programming (both academic and extracurricular) between all-boys and all-girls schools. Keynote speakers will include: Peter J. Kuriloff, professor at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and research director, Center for the Study of Boys’ and Girls’ Lives; and Michael C. Reichert, executive director, The Center for the Study of Boys’ and Girls’ Lives.
