National Cathedral School seeks an on-call substitute for a one-year term supporting all subjects in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. Duties include
being available daily on campus to substitute for classes and to cover for teachers as necessary,
carrying out lesson plans delivered by classroom teachers,
covering for non-classroom events and gatherings such as homeroom, class meeting, lunch, etc.
managing classroom, including attendance and helping students to adhere classroom expectations,
interacting positively and developing supportive relationships with students as a trusted mentor adult,
other duties as assigned.
Working hours for this position are between 7:45 and 3:45 Monday through Friday. Successful applicants will exhibit good judgment and ability to maintain safety of all students, a dedication to the care and support of students in their learning, and an ability to advance lesson plans in a variety of subjects. Term of employment is for school year 21-22.
