NCS and St. Albans will present the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols virtually on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 pm. This shared service, which has taken place in the Cathedral for more than 75 years, features readings, prayers, and artistic offerings by student singers, instrumentalists, and dancers from all divisions at both schools. This year’s service will include new virtual collaborations as well as archival footage from past Lessons & Carols services. Families and alums will also have the opportunity to sing along with familiar carols. We are honored to include the bishop of Washington and the dean of the Cathedral among the students, faculty, staff, and administrators from the schools who will offer readings and prayers.
