Swim & Dive Team Wins Third Straight DCSAA Championship
The NCS Swim & Dive Team won its third consecutive District of Columbia State Athletic Association (DCSAA) Championship!
In addition to the team’s overall accomplishment, Ellie D. ’25 and Natalie G. '24 shared the Outstanding Performer award with another swimmer by winning two individual events each. The 200 Free Relay team of Natalie G., Sofia V. '26, Adele M. '26, and Ellie D. also won a state title. Natalie G. broke a school record set in 2013 in the 100 Back with a time of 57.71.

Earlier in the season, Ellie D. broke NCS’s record in the 50 freestyle. It was the school’s longest-standing swimming record that had been held for decades by Sarah Clemitt ’83. Clemitt, on learning the news, sent Ellie a gracious note and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
