Lower School Students Compete in Regional Spelling Bee

NCS’s three Lower School Spelling Bee winners, Naomi W. ‘30, Lulu M. ‘30, and Marigold R. ‘31, participated in the intermediate Spelling Bee, competing against other Washington, D.C. students in Grades 3-8. The words they spelled correctly included jankers, allergenic, rhythmically, whereas, Puritan, and vicarious. Naomi W. tied for first place and will compete in the D.C. City Bee in March. Marigold tied for sixth place. Congratulations to our accomplished spellers!
