Homecoming Dance: Sept. 19
School Policy: A violation of the following rule relating to alcohol or other illegal drugs may result in immediate expulsion. In accordance with the governing laws of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, the possession or use of illegal drugs, including alcoholic beverages by minors under the age of 21, is prohibited. Therefore, the use, distribution, or possession of illegal drugs or alcohol, or the misuse of prescription drugs at school (which includes the entire Cathedral Close), school-sponsored events, functions held by other schools, or when the student is representing the school is strictly prohibited. This includes arriving at any of the above functions under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol. If a student is in violation of the above rule, she will appear before the Discipline Board. Sanctions for such violations may include, but are not limited to, probation, suspension, or expulsion. If a student is placed on probation or is suspended, she is expected to disclose this disciplinary action in her college applications.
